Job summary

Clark Wood is recruiting an Audit &Accounts Manager in Stockton-on-Tees to lead audit engagements, manage staff and maintain high client service standards. The role reports to Partners and offers progression within a respected independent firm.

You will oversee audits from planning through to completion, review year-end accounts, and contribute to staff development and client growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Experience managing audits in an accountancy practice.
• Proven staff management experience.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience reviewing year-end accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the audit process from planning to completion.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by staff.
• Lead and develop junior team members and oversee performance.
• Participate in business development and client engagement activities.
