Job summary

Clark Wood Limited is working with a leading Top 40 chartered accountancy practice in Peterborough to recruit an Audit & Accounts Manager. The role focuses on audit with 80:20 split to accounts, managing a varied portfolio of clients, planning and delivering audits, and supervising the team.

You will work closely with the Audit Partner, review year-end accounts, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to training and development within the team.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with audit experience in practice.
• Experience leading a team of auditors.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the audit process from planning through completion.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by the team for accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to day-to-day management and training of the staff.
