Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for a main car dealer client in Cardiff. The role focuses on bank reconciliation, cheque postings, and input of purchase ledger invoices, with the ideal candidate having AAT Level 2 and familiarity with Kerridge or Autoline.

You should be efficient, organised and accurate with numbers, data entry and Excel. Salary package offered up to £19,000 depending on experience, with OTE indicative of performance and progression.

Qualifications

• Will be efficient, organised and accurate with numbers and data entry.
• Have previous experience in a similar position.
• Are ideally qualified to AAT level two or equivalent.
• Are computer literate in email, Excel and ideally to have Kerridge / Autoline knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliation
• Complete and reconcile cheque postings
• Input of purchase ledger invoices
• Prepare daily banking / petty cash handling / posting cash banking
