Job summary

Jago Consultants is assisting a leading car dealership in Canterbury to find an experienced Accounts Assistant. The role focuses on bank reconciliations, cheque postings, and input of purchase ledger invoices to support accurate daily finance operations.

You will be efficient, organized and numerate, with prior experience in a similar role. AAT Level 2 or equivalent is desirable, and proficiency with Excel and basic accounting software is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar accounts role.
• AAT Level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic accounting software; Kerridge/Autoline knowledge preferred.

We are working with a main car dealership looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their their team.

Accounts Assistant Role:

• Complete bank reconciliation
• Complete and reconcile cheque postings
• Input of purchase ledger invoices
• Prepare daily banking / petty cash handling / posting cash banking

As an Accounts Assistant You:

• Will be efficient, organised and accurate with numbers and data entry
• Have previous experience in a similar position
• Are ideally qualified to AAT level two or equivalent
• Are computer literate in email, Excel and ideally to have Kerridge / Autoline knowledge

Package:

£16,250-£20,500 Depending on Experience + Bonus
