Acorn by Synergie in Truro is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. You will handle payments, invoices, bank reconciliations and liaise with internal teams and Members.

The role is 35 hours per week, permanent, with potential part-time consideration (minimum 25 hours). We offer private medical insurance, income protection, generous holiday allowance, induction and development opportunities, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts role is essential.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Excellent customer service and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Flexible and solution-driven attitude.
• GCSE Maths grade 6 or above.

Responsibilities

• Handle payment queries from internal teams and Members.
• Manage payments, direct debits and refunds of insurance premiums.
• Contact Members about late or missing payments.
• Process invoices and set up purchasing and claims payments.
• Handle and prepare for banking all monies received and perform banking.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
