Job summary

Howett-Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Limited is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant Manager in Weybridge to progress toward an Accounts Manager role. You will oversee a diverse client portfolio, review accounts and working papers, and support the team from start to finish.

The role offers hybrid working, opportunities for client advisory growth, and development within a growing accountancy practice aligned with Partners and senior managers.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required or nearing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review a varied client portfolio, including groups.
• Review statutory accounts and working papers.
• Oversee complex accounts under FRS 102.
• Review draft corporation tax computations.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Act as key contact for clients and advise on accounting matters.
• Manage deadlines, budgets and workflow with Managers and Partners.
