Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience.
• Experience managing or supporting a portfolio of accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and ability to manage assignments from planning to completion.
• Proactive and enquiring approach with the confidence to add value for clients; strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of accounts clients to deadlines and budgets.
• Plan assignments, scope of work, and agree budgets and fees.
• Prepare statutory accounts and delegate work to junior team members.
• Review work in progress and ensure timely completion to required standards.
• Provide guidance and develop colleagues to maintain quality and efficiency.
