Qualifications

Accounts Assistant - Stroud
Salary: £26,000 to £32,000 + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new opportunity in the Stroud area? We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturer of high-end electronics equipment, renowned worldwide for their dedication to performance and engineering excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company and support their finance operations from their office in Stroud. The role offers a salary of up to £32,000 and is based on-site, Monday to Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the purchase ledger, including invoice processing and supplier payments
  • Reconcile credit card statements and assist with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and support month-end accounting processes
  • Liaise with procurement to resolve invoicing and supply queries
  • Provide basic HR support, such as onboarding new employees
What Experience is Required:
  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or purchase ledger role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 200 or similar accounting software
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience of Payroll using Sage Payroll is desirable
Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary between £26,000 and £32,000 (dependent on experience)
