A leading company is seeking a temporary part-time Accounts Assistant to cover maternity. The remote role involves a variety of tasks such as monitoring emails, managing bank statements, and handling multi-currency transactions, all requiring a detail-oriented individual adept in QuickBooks and MS Excel.

Your new role
As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will cover:
Monitoring an email inbox - responding to urgent queries.
Dealing with 3x international banking portals, updating figures on a weekly basis
Matching, batching, posting.
Statement reconciliation
Aged Debt update
Raise Invoices/Credits
Processing expenses
Credit Cards - chasing, posting, reconciling
Bank Statements - monthly
Credit Control
Payments - (suppliers and intercompany invoices)
QB - details, going back in and filing out anything missed/not pulled over
Charges for card machines
Event Budgets - where to find them, any information on there for staff travel or people to chase for payment
Setting up new customers/suppliers
What you'll need to succeed
The business are looking for a very detail-oriented and experienced candidate who can come in and hit the ground running. They are currently operating on Quickbooks, a good understanding of MS Excel will be crucial. You will have ideally had experience with multi currencies £ $ ₠. This is a remote position, so good, clear, and concise communication will be a bonus. Also, an individual who can build a good rapport with international customers.
