Accounts Assistant

Education for Industry Group

Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Electra House – London, EC2M 6SE

About the Role

Join our Finance team and play a vital role in managing accounts, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting the EFI Group’s success.

The Accounts Assistant will oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and payable activities, including reviewing the sales ledger, managing debtors, chasing outstanding fees, processing invoices, ensuring accurate payments, and maintaining precise financial records.

About You
  • Qualifications: Newly qualified accountant or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience: Experience with computerized accounting systems, debt collection, accounts payable, and general accounting, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise: Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, cashbook management, and accounts receivable.
  • Passion: Committed to accurate and efficient data processing, with a proactive approach to working in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

£26,550 to £29,500 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
