Job description

KennedyPearce is working with a fast-growing fintech business based in London. This role requires being in the office 3 days a week and is a hands-on position reporting to the Finance Director. It is ideal for someone seeking broad exposure across finance. The company offers a casual, professional, fast-paced culture in a dog-friendly office.

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Managing daily, weekly, and monthly finance operations
  2. Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  3. Performing bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
  4. Supporting payroll checks and reconciliations
  5. Creating Excel-based reports and conducting financial analysis
  6. Using Xero for financial transactions and reporting
  7. Assisting in preparing client reports and invoices
  8. Helping to improve and document financial processes
  9. Managing confidential information with discretion
  10. Supporting audit and compliance requirements as needed
What We're Looking For
  1. 2-3 years of relevant experience
  2. A general accounting degree or part-qualified accountant (preferably from practice)
  3. Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic reconciliations
  4. High attention to detail
  5. Proficiency in Excel
  6. Proactive mindset and willingness to grow rapidly in the next 12 months
  7. Ability to thrive in a casual, professional, and fast-paced environment
