Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant be responsible for the day to day accounts administration within the Group. Ensuring payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. You will work closely with your colleagues in Accounts Payable and demonstrate an ability to follow strict procedures to ensure the Finance department remains SOX compliant.
Responsibilities
- Bank Administration for EMEA & APAC
- Upload monthly salary bank files to the bank
- Update exchange rates on Sage System
- Prepare weekly cash reports
- Monitor account cash balances and transfer funds accordingly
- Prepare any manual payments outside of supplier payment runs
- Employee expense management
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Journal postings
- Maintain the Company's Fixed Asset System.
- On a monthly basis, reconcile the Company's Fixed Assets, Revenue Generating Assets, and CIP GL Accounts.
- To provide cover for the duties performed by other members of the accounts department as may be require
- Proactively suggesting and supporting the implementation of improvements to existing finance department procedures
- Assistance in any other assigned projects
- Adhoc query resolution

Qualifications- Finance Degree or / and AAT Qualification.
- The successful candidate will have previous exposure to a fast paced finance environment and be able to manage their work load accordingly.
- You will be self-motivated, eager to learn, be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, adaptable and a strong team player.
- You will require excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise with both finance and non-finance individuals.
- A strong focus on attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Excel
- Able to work independently and within a team
