Due to continued business growth, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team at Vertu Land Rover Leeds. If you want to be part of one of the largest Motor Retailers in the UK, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

We offer a basic salary of £24,720 plus a comprehensive range of company benefits.

The main purpose of this role is to support the smooth operation of the dealership's accounting and financial procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with sales and purchase ledger duties such as checking invoices, filing invoices and statements, and handling purchase enquiries. Additional duties involve assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, daily banking, cash flow management, credit control, and other ad-hoc accounting tasks.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in accounts is preferred but not essential; experience in the motor industry is advantageous
  • If no experience, candidate should be working towards relevant qualifications
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team
