We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team at one of Liverpool's largest automotive retail operations.

Supporting a high-volume, multi-million-pound dealership, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts function, working closely with department managers and the wider leadership team. Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase ledger invoices and supplier payments
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries
• Assisting with sales ledger administration and customer account management
• Daily banking and cash reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting month-end accounting processes
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing vehicle and manufacturer-related transactions
• Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with company processes and financial controls

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role
• Motor trade experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
