Job summary

bk plus in Birmingham is recruiting an Apprentice to join our Accounts team. The role will see you gain your AAT qualification followed by ACCA qualification and give you exposure to the full accounts process.

You will gain hands-on experience in accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and client communication while working in a small team. A proactive learner with strong Excel and IT skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation for year end for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.
• Bookkeeping; maintain accurate records, process transactions, and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in VAT returns preparation and submission.
• Respond to client queries and request missing information.
• Administrative duties – filing, scanning, and organising client documents.
