DFDS UK & Ireland is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our Dover team. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, you will provide financial administration, data entry and customer service support to ensure costs and revenue are accurately allocated and customer needs are met promptly.
You will handle invoice requests, supplier and customer forms, and oversee overdue invoices while adapting to changing priorities in a busy environment.

Working Monday – Friday , from 08:00–17:00 at our Dover office, you’ll join a high-performing team responsible for delivering accurate, efficient and cost-effective administrative and finance support. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining customer service, financial administration and data entry, while ensuring costs and revenue are accurately allocated and customer needs are handled promptly.

You’re an organised and detail-focused individual who takes pride in delivering accurate work and providing excellent customer service. You’ll have strong administrative skills and be comfortable working with financial information, systems and data, with the ability to work quickly without compromising on accuracy. Clear and concise communication will be essential, as you’ll regularly liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
You’ll be adaptable, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable flexing their approach to meet the changing needs of the business. Previous experience in administration, finance, customer service or a similar environment would be beneficial, but above all, we’re looking for someone reliable, commercially aware and committed to getting things right.
