The Ideal Person

• Qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent) with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrable experience working on at least one ERP implementation.
• Excellent computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets.
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workloads.

Responsibilities

The accounting technician will be part of a small team assisting with the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, covering finance, expenses, procurement, payroll, and human resources modules. Responsibilities include data cleansing, data migration, and supporting the transition process.

• Assist with data cleansing of relevant data on current systems.
• Assist with data migration preparations across relevant modules.
• Work closely with the business and system vendors to prepare for user acceptance testing, resolving issues as they arise.
• Assist with reconciliation activities between legacy and new ERP systems.
• Collaborate with relevant managers and vendors to redefine business processes for seamless integration.
• Help draft training materials tailored to system functionality and business processes.
• Support cutover preparations, go-live, and post-go live support.
