Alchemy Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Belfast is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to join a busy practice. The role offers progression with CAI studies and support for IATI qualification.

You will support accountants and partners while gaining exposure to diverse clients. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in practice, is qualified or pursuing Accounting Technician, and can handle accounts prep, bookkeeping, HMRC returns and tax computations with attention to detail and strong

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a busy practice role.
• Qualified as or working towards Accounting Technician qualification.
• Salary negotiable on experience but above market averages.
• Signficant benefits including on-site free parking, life, health, etc plus an early finish on Friday.

Responsibilities

• You will provide key support to the accountants and partners of the business, while gaining exposure to clients in a broad range of industries and business types.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build good working relationships.
• Experience in accounts preparation, general bookkeeping, HMRC returns and tax computations.
• Keen attention to detail, delivering high quality work in a timely manner.
• Strong organisational skills to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Continuous improvement mindset, keeping skills and knowledge up to date while suggesting business and process improvements.
