MCS Group in Belfast is seeking a Tax Technician / Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice. You will prepare and complete Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns and support delivery of services across a varied client portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, early finish on Fridays and a supportive environment with study opportunities to progress qualifications.

Qualifications

• Tax experience within an accountancy practice.
• ATT/ATI qualified or working towards; ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE with tax experience.
• Strong personal and corporation tax compliance experience.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
• Confident in building relationships and dealing directly with clients.
• Organised, proactive and hands-on in a busy practice

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns, reviewing work completed by junior team members.
• Support the delivery of Corporate and Personal Tax services across a varied client portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of service.
• Develop relationships internally and externally, identifying opportunities to add value and support business growth.
• Act as a proactive member of the tax team, managing day-to-day client communication and queries.
