Job summary

Odyssey Collaborative Trust in Derby is hiring a Finance Apprentice. This immediate-start role sits at The Hub, Borrowash Road, Spondon. You will support the Trust finance team across a wide range of financial processes while studying toward the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.

You'll work 35 hours per week (term time only, 39 weeks), with 6 hours minimum per week dedicated to apprenticeship work. Training is online via MS Teams, and your AAT tutor will guide the modules and mandatory

Qualifications

• GCSE (Maths and English) at grade 5/B or equivalent.
• UK residency for 3+ years.
• Desirable A-Level Maths/Business/Economics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Record financial transactions in Trust finance systems.
• Assist with month-end activities and reporting.
• Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Support payroll processes and payroll reporting.
• Prepare information for VAT returns and supplier queries.
