Job summary

Sheridan Maine is partnering with an established organisation to recruit an Accountant - Projects & Process Improvement. This role suits a qualified accountant who enjoys a broad finance remit and driving process improvements, systems, automation and AI.

Hybrid working is available after a training and probationary period, with the role based near the Somerset/Dorset border. You will lead strategic finance projects and contribute to governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Three years' relevant experience in finance.
• Experience in improving finance processes, systems or ways of working.
• Strong interest in technology, automation and AI within a finance environment.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Strong communication with colleagues, management and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of finance, reporting and compliance activities.
• Lead on strategic projects in finance, including planning, testing and adoption of new systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, technology and AI.
• Provide training and support to colleagues on new systems and processes.

Education

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
