Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts with accuracy
• Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely tax filings and regulatory compliance for assigned clients
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and audit processes
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Use tools like Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, FreshBooks, and others

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role (minimum 1 year)
• Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Bonus: Experience working with US-based companies or multinational accounts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
