Job description

Location: flexible potential office in London and an office in Leeds or Edinburgh. Can be remote full time working from home.

Main responsibilities:
• Support with accounting activities for UK legal entities ensuring compliance with US GAAP and UK GAAP as well as Client policies and procedures.
• Booking month end journal entries under US GAAP, such as accruals, prepayments, intercompany, tax adjustments, etc.
• Reviewing other general ledger activities for UK entities, such as AP and cash management.
• Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting financial accounting team with preparation of UK compliance filings such as tax returns and statistical returns.
• Preparing audit documentation and supporting external audit of the UK entities.
• Raising purchase orders and invoice payment requests.
• Working together with the wider EMEA finance team, Shared Service Centres and other functions to deliver improvements and consistency across processes as well as other ad hoc tasks.
