Job summary

Marc Daniels is recruiting a finance Accountant to join its team in a fast-paced, market-leading environment. The role focuses on robust general accounting for multiple entities and currencies, supporting month-end close, reconciliations and VAT compliance within a hybrid working model.

You will work with the FSSC Senior Accountant and other finance colleagues, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery and continuous process improvement, while contributing to audits and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi currency and multi entity accounting.
• Experience with month end close and VAT compliance.
• Strong numerical and analytic skills.

My client, A FTSE 100, market leading company, are recruiting a fantastic opportunity to join their team as Accountant. The role offers a hybrid working structure. The role is suitable for someone who has experience with multi currency, multi entity, month end and VAT.

Responsibilities:

• Support General Accounting tasks and activities to operating companies in own scope, as instructed by the FSSC Senior Accountant, such as period end close activities, reconciliations, analysis, posting adjustment entries, supporting activities for audit queries, KPI reporting etc.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered.
• Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required.
• Support the transition of ERP systems, Finance/Accounting systems, management accounting processes and procedures to the Shared Service Centre.
• Ensure ongoing compliance to internal processes.
• Observe and actively promote the Health, Safety and Environment ethos and help building a fun and supportive environment in the Finance Shared Service Centre.
