Working Pattern: 37.5 Hrs PW, Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per year (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing

As an Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing client accounts and ensuring smooth financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Handling client queries related to Tax and Accounts
2. Preparing Accounts up to Trial Balance for finalisation
3. Building strong client relationships and ensuring top-tier service
4. Liaising with HMRC for reconciliations and missing payments
5. Chasing and checking client data for accuracy and completeness
6. Preparing and submitting VAT Returns & Self-Assessments
7. Handling Corporate Tax Returns, Payroll, and CIS
8. Supporting Accounts Finalisation
9. Identifying client needs and referring them to relevant teams (e.g., Tax Investigation, Mortgage, R&D claims)
10. Conducting Client Tax Review Meetings
11. Ensuring compliance with Money Laundering regulations

What We're Looking For

1. AAT qualified or equivalent (mandatory)
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role
3. Up-to-date knowledge of Tax Legislation and Accounting Standards
4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
