Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for a full-time remote Assistant Accountant position, starting as soon as possible. This is an ongoing role, with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks of temporary work.

Key Duties Include:

1. Support various parts of the month-end process.
2. Review the nominal ledger at month-end for accurate coding and correct postings.
3. Prepare and post monthly journals, e.g., prepayments, accruals, FX, and intercompany recharges.
4. Reconcile all supporting information on balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
5. Maintain fixed asset registers and CAPEX.
6. Support the external audit process.
7. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is essential; SAP experience is highly desirable.
