Job Description:

API is seeking a seasoned professional to join our company as an Account Manager. This role is based remotely in London, UK. The Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for clients, actively managing existing client relationships with our partners, focusing on the best interests of clients and API at all times.

Essential Functions
  1. Sourcing: Oversee the direction of existing API accounts to maximize relationships and expand market share. Collaborate with the Research & Sourcing team to provide destination details for seamless sourcing. Assist with destination sourcing by initiating RFP processes, ensuring accurate documentation and client needs are met.
  2. Strategic Planning: Maximize API revenue and client savings through sourcing timelines, contract renewals, and market analysis.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct hotel inspections domestically and internationally, ensuring properties meet client criteria.
  4. Contracting: Negotiate hotel contracts, renewals, and addendums, maintaining favorable terms and monitoring market conditions for best rates and amenities. Manage risks proactively.
  5. Day-to-Day Account Management: Coordinate with sales team to meet client needs, manage feedback via online portals, add or remove hotels in systems, and ensure data accuracy.
  6. Hotel Express & ACES: Ensure negotiated rates and contract information are correctly loaded and maintained. Follow up on schedules and backup lists.
  7. CRM & Client Relations: Maintain all revenue opportunities, contracts, and client communications. Understand client needs and provide value-added recommendations. Lead client transitions from contract signing to implementation.
