What this job can offer you

The opportunity to manage the entire sales cycle, from retaining existing customer investment and identifying new expansion opportunities to executing upsell and cross-sell strategies. Present Remote’s suite of services to existing customers, creating pathways for upselling solutions and ensuring the completion of the business cycle. This position is an opportunity to own and nurture customer relationships, stay in frequent contact, and build strategic partnerships.

As a key player, you'll not only understand but also design solutions tailored to the unique communication needs of small and mid-sized businesses. Take charge of customer retention initiatives, participate in strategic events, and lead discussions to deepen relationships. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success. This role offers a multifaceted experience, allowing you to make a lasting impact on customer satisfaction and business growth.

What you bring
  • Demonstrated ability in retaining and growing existing accounts, driving net new expansion bookings as well as upselling/cross-selling opportunities within customer accounts
  • Success in building key customer relationships across different levels of personas, including decision makers, champions, and C-level stakeholders to drive successful client outcomes, grow accounts, and increase revenue
  • Proactive communication with key customer contacts and advocates to understand needs, build strategic roadmaps, and solicit feedback to improve their experience with Remote
  • Ability to create and execute sales tactics to grow revenue per account
  • Able to develop, execute, and adapt proactive client strategies to achieve goals
  • Confident in pipeline development, forecasting, and providing accurate reports
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes
  • Ability to learn complex product solutions and eagerness to develop new skills
  • Understanding of Remote’s services and industry position
  • Experience in Account Management or related SaaS sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business fluency in English is essential
  • Proven experience selling into the UKI market
  • Highly self-motivated with ambitions for a closing role
  • Self-directed and able to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas based on role level, managing the entire sales cycle for a book of business
  • Identify new expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities, pushing through the sales cycle
  • Present Remote’s services to existing customers and create upsell opportunities
  • Own the customer relationship from sale to completion
  • Maintain frequent contact and build strategic, partnership-based relationships
  • Design solutions to meet the communication needs of small and mid-sized businesses
  • Generate customer retention initiatives and participate in strategic events to nurture relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote’s Total Rewards philosophy ensures fair, unbiased compensation, competitive benefits, and above in-location pay rates across all operating locations. We aim to support global talent-hiring and bring wealth to developing countries.

Salary bands are wide; for this role, the On-Target Earnings range from $63,950 to $143,900 USD. The base salary is 60% of the OTE. Actual pay depends on factors like location, skills, experience, and market conditions. Salary ranges may change.

We promote internal mobility, with compensation adjustments reviewed case-by-case.
