Job Summary:
Real Chemistry is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team. As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, managing relationships and overseeing the delivery of multiple medium-sized projects. You will be responsible for managing project execution and coaching junior team members, ensuring effective delivery alongside the account lead.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the main client contact, providing regular updates, responding to queries, sharing recommendations, managing expectations, and communicating client briefs to the team with realistic project plans.
- Manage the daily operations of your account, including internal meetings, workflow, task delegation, and project status oversight.
- Own and be accountable for medium-sized client projects, ensuring delivery to high standards within budget and timelines.
- Understand your clients’ needs and preferences, and reflect this understanding in your interactions and deliverables.
- Develop written content such as briefing documents and review junior team members’ work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for growth and proactively share ideas with your team and clients.
- Contribute to new business efforts through research, presentations, and team collaboration during pitches.
Team management:
- Monitor the professional development of junior team members through regular interactions.
- Enhance coaching, delegation, and briefing skills, and lead by example to develop and inspire your team.
- Support financial management tasks, including managing Salesforce opportunities, invoicing, and forecasting.
- Create accurate budgets based on previous projects and cost estimates.
- Manage project budgets, flag scope changes, and inform your account lead of additional budget needs.
- Assist in resource planning by communicating project requirements.
- Complete timesheets and expense reports accurately and participate in internal initiatives to foster team culture.
- Engage with developments in the medical communications and pharma industries, and share insights to enhance your work and profile.
