Job summary

Plus One Recruitment is seeking an Account Manager to own a portfolio of professional hair industry customers from our Southam office. You will cultivate lasting relationships, understand business needs and propose relevant products, services and training.

This role blends account management, customer service and sales with autonomy, backed by a collaborative team. Full-time, office-based, driving required for rural location, salary £28,000 plus commission, 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays, free

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, sales or customer service is advantageous.
• B2B customer-facing experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trustful relationships.
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities to generate more business.
• Highly organised and proactive, able to manage accounts and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of customers, building strong commercial relationships.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer requirements and ongoing support.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and develop existing accounts.
• Proactively suggest additional products, services and training based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotations and proposals; manage sales pipeline and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
