Job summary

Placrrecruitment Co is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to join a growing business where customer relationships are at the heart of everything they do. This role is based in Shoreham-by-Sea and offers a salary of up to £30,000 plus bonus and career development opportunities.

You will own an established customer base, deliver outstanding service, uncover sales opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships through proactive account management.

Qualifications

• Account management or similar client-facing experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and rapport-building abilities are essential.
• Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid IT skills including CRM software and MS Office.
• A valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of customer accounts from enquiry to order completion.
• Be the first point of contact for customers, delivering timely, professional service.
• Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
• Prepare tailored quotations and follow opportunities through to completion.
• Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and with prospects.
• Achieve sales objectives through account development and relationship management.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information.
• Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless customer experience.
• Represent the business at occasional customer visits, exhibitions and networking events.
