Reports to: Senior Operations Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 (d.o.e) per year

Purpose of the Role

Due to ongoing growth, Endersham are looking for a new Account Manager to come onboard and be part of our friendly family feel team! Providing the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene for our clients and within their contract specification, you will provide that ultimate service. Taking ownership of a portfolio of client sites delivering cleaning service excellence, on time and within budget. You will play a key role in maintaining an efficiently managed client site, supporting a motivated team of cleaning operatives and ensuring client satisfaction.

Account managerDuties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership:Motivate and manage the team to enable them to deliver results, whilst coaching and guiding the team to continually improve.
  • Management of Subcontractors:Regularly meetings (monthly or quarterly as needed) with all sub-contracted services managers, walkaround to ensure quality control and KPI’s are in line with the agreed high standards.
  • Client Relationships:The Account Manager will take ownership of client relationships and work closely with the executive teams to become trusted advisors, building strong foundations for continued company growth. Comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, this will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace. Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of Health and Safety hazards e.g. blocked/locked fire doors.
  • Budgets:Order of all materials from nominated suppliers, process monthly payroll for all staff, generate and manage all aspects of finance within the agreed budgets set by the client.
  • Reporting:Attend monthly management team meetings, take the lead and update minutes. Complete a monthly report and present to the clients if requested and agree KPI’s. Submitting of accurate time sheet data to Payroll.
  • HR:Hiring and training new and continuous training of current employees both face to face and online. Dealing with any TUPE, Redundancy or Disciplinary issues.
  • Maintaining Standards:The Account Manager will carry out daily walkarounds of sites to ensure cleaning standards are maintained. Monthly audits of all areas and results/actions cascaded to supervisors and sub-contractors as required. Meetings with all staff to ensure standards are understood and met and discuss any upcoming events/requirements/Training or any relevant topic.

  • Motivated, well trained and engaged housekeeping team with clear succession planning
  • Regular communication with executive team and demonstration of achieved agreed targets.

Desirable

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Experience in Cleaning or Account Managing in the Cleaning Sector
  • Fluent in Spanish and or Portuguese
