Cleaning Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cleaning Manager to join our team and play a vital role in driving excellence and innovation.

As a Cleaning Manager, you'll:
  • Team Management & Service Delivery: Oversee the daily operations of the cleaning team, ensuring service delivery aligns with client contracts, legislation, and cleaning standards, while promoting positive enhancements in quality.
  • Financial & Resource Management: Manage labour costs, budgets, stock control of cleaning supplies, and seek operational efficiencies through new technologies and practices.
  • Staff Development & Compliance: Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff, ensuring all training, appraisals, and HR policies (e.g., absence management, holiday tracking) are maintained.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Client & Performance Monitoring: Prepare reports, attend meetings, and conduct quality audits to ensure cleaning standards meet or exceed contractual requirements, maintaining strong client relationships.
What we're looking for:
  • Commitment to Excellence & Adaptability: Dedication to service quality and flexibility to change, ensuring high standards across operations.
  • Leadership & Resource Management: Proven experience in leading teams, prioritizing tasks, and managing resources effectively.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Industry Knowledge & Communication Skills: Deep knowledge of the cleaning industry and excellent communication abilities for team and client interactions.
  • Technical & Educational Skills: Computer literacy, good literacy and numeracy skills; desirable qualifications include IOSH Managing Safely, BICSc assessor, BIFM Qualification, or relevant apprenticeship experience.
