Qualifications

Job Description
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Client Services team for a 12 month, fixed term contract.

We’re sector agnostic, although we do have greater depth of experience in place & destination, travel, energy & utilities, infrastructure, education & students.

About you

You will have an eye for detail, love working as part of a team and will be confident managing projects from the inception of the brief to final fulfilment and delivery.

You’ll be proactive, organised, reliable, entrepreneurial and opinionated. You make great work happen effortlessly.

You’ll be positive, with a can-do attitude and understanding from both a client and creative perspective.

You’ll have the ability to build solid, trusted working relationships with clients and colleagues that are built on mutual respect and your ability to add value and energy to the team when driving projects throughout the studio.

Desired Skills and Experience

Overall

  1. A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a creative agency
  2. Ability to confidently manage both internal and client expectations
  3. Experienced managing a range of projects across brand and advertising campaigns including shoot production
  4. Be solution oriented and calm under pressure
  5. Process driven and organised with a high attention to detail
  6. Confident communicator and collaborator with some experience communicating across teams and external partners & suppliers
  7. Possess financial acumen and an understanding of building project budgets
  8. Motivate and encourage all members of the team
  9. Support and development of new business opportunities
  10. Culturally aware
  11. Experience in the property sector is advantageous but not essential

Day-to-day

  1. Create and manage budgets and timelines – tracking profitability throughout projects
  2. Proactive, timely and consistent clear client communication
  3. Day-to-day contact for all client communication
  4. Relay client feedback to a Creative in a constructive manner
  5. Manage projects throughout each stage of development from brief through to studio and final implementation – working with each department of the agency as required
  6. Acting as the main driver of individual projects throughout the studio ensuring each project remains on schedule and meets required delivery timings
  7. Maintain accurate records of meetings, decisions and next steps
  8. Get stuck into the detail, ensuring all briefs are clear and required assets are available ahead of briefs commencing in the studio
  9. Tracking client feedback
  10. Understand agency processes and maintain responsibility for quality control
  11. Brief and liaise with suppliers/partners
  12. Raise invoices and POs, and financial tracking of projects

After 3 months:

  1. Pension scheme: We have a contributory Group Pension Scheme where we will match up to 4.5% salary.
  2. Cycle scheme: We’re part of the Government Cycle Scheme – bandstand will front the cost of a new bike, with you spreading the repayments over 12 months from pre-tax salary.
  3. Season ticket loan: We’ll pay for your annual season ticket. All you have to do is pay us back within 12 months in easy monthly instalments, interest free.
  4. Lunchtime boxing: For those who need an outlet, come and punch the hell out of a bag with us as often as you like for only £8 a month, bandstand will pay the rest.
  5. The gym: For those who fancy joining Everyone Active on Marshall Street, we will pay half of your monthly membership.
  6. Unlimited massage: If you would like to ease weary muscles, pay a visit to a local salon where we have an account.
  7. Nurseries: Spawn? bandstand have partnered with YellowNest – a workplace Salary Exchange benefit that helps working parents save an average of £550/month on childcare fees.

Holiday

25 days of holiday per calendar year on top of the usual 8 bank holidays. In addition to this the studio usually closes between Christmas and New Year. After 3 years with bandstand, you are entitled to an extra two days of holiday. After 5 years, you are rewarded with a month of fully paid holiday to be taken as a sabbatical. After 6 years, holiday allowance is increased by a further 3 days, to a total of 30 days a year.
