Account Manager (Remote)

Package: Basic £35,000 - £40,000 / OTE £15,000 - £20,000 (uncapped)

The company is a leading FinTech Software Company experiencing significant growth and a reputation for being a market leader. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their established sales team to manage a portfolio of their core customer base. As a disruptor in the industry, they are growing rapidly and offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.

They seek a self-motivated, experienced, and confident Account Manager with the proven ability to manage your own territory and achieve revenue targets. You will sell their award-winning software using a professional and consultative sales approach, maximizing opportunities for long-term growth.

Requirements include 18 months of SaaS sales experience and managing a portfolio of existing relationships with revenue and retention targets, ideally within a FinTech company. You will strategically manage your portfolio to retain, cross-sell, and upsell into the base.

Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve monthly targets through systematic territory management and opportunity identification
  • Engage with customers quarterly and conduct regular account reviews
  • Understand key customer objectives and define success for them
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional software and solutions
  • Build lasting relationships proactively with customers
  • Schedule and conduct annual account reviews with key clients
  • Run demonstrations in 1-on-1 and group/webinar settings
  • Provide live reports on customer activity and forecast tracking weekly
  • Proactively contact customers with pending renewals
  • Attend industry events and staff company exhibitions, engaging with customers and prospects face-to-face

Experience Required:

  • 18+ months B2B sales experience, ideally in FinTech sectors like Accountancy Software, Tax Solutions, Payroll, Compliance, or Forecasting
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Ability to develop sales plans within a territory
  • Strong customer focus and commercial awareness
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Personal responsibility and achievement-oriented mindset
