Business Stream in the UK is seeking an Account Manager to own a portfolio of business customers, helping them find the right water and wastewater services while growing accounts.

This is a commercially focused role, spending most of your time strengthening relationships, securing renewals and identifying new sales opportunities. You’ll develop account plans, negotiate proposals and contracts, and collaborate across the business.

Enjoy building customer relationships and turning opportunities into results? Join Business Stream as an Account Manager and take ownership of a portfolio of business customers, helping them find the right water and wastewater services while growing your accounts.

This is a commercially focused role, with most of your time spent strengthening customer relationships, securing renewals and identifying new sales opportunities. You’ll develop account plans, negotiate proposals and contracts, and introduce additional solutions that meet your customers’ needs. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll balance sales growth with great service, building partnerships that last.

About you

You’ll bring a track record of building strong business relationships and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. Comfortable negotiating and closing deals, you’ll take time to understand what matters to each customer and turn their needs into practical solutions. You’ll also have experience developing and delivering account plans, with the organisation and commercial judgement to manage competing priorities and balance customer and business needs.

You’ll be a confident communicator who can present proposals clearly, work with financial and operational information, and collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues. You’ll need good Microsoft Office skills, English and Maths at Standard Grade or equivalent, a full driving licence and the ability to work from home. Experience in account management, solution selling or using a CRM system would be an advantage.
