Job summary

Business Stream is seeking a confident Sales Executive to join our Acquisitions team and grow our UK non-household water customer base. In this fast-paced, target-driven role you will open conversations, spot commercial opportunities and drive new business from SMEs across the UK.

You\'ll manage outbound activity, contribute to sales campaigns, and work with decision-makers to move prospects through to contract conversion, delivering a positive customer experience from first contact to handover.

About the role

Are you a confident B2B sales professional who enjoys opening conversations, spotting commercial opportunities and turning prospects into customers? We're looking for a Sales Executive to join our Acquisitions team and help us grow our customer base across the UK non-household water market.

In this role, you'll focus on winning new business from small and medium-sized organisations, as well as identifying opportunities to help existing customers consolidate their sites or take up additional services. You'll be speaking with decision-makers, understanding their needs, presenting the value of working with Business Stream and helping to deliver a smooth handover from initial conversation through to contract conversion.

It's a fast-paced, target-driven role where you'll manage outbound activity, take part in sales campaigns, test customer propositions and share insight that helps us improve how we reach and convert customers. You'll also play an important part in delivering a positive customer experience by providing clear, accurate information and working closely with colleagues across the business.

About you

• Experience in B2B sales, telesales, account growth or another target-driven sales environment.
• Confidence making outbound calls, building rapport and handling objections.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities and move them forward.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
• Motivation to work towards individual and team targets in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce or Dynamics would be helpful, but what matters most is your drive, resilience and ability to create positive customer relationships.
