Our client is an established manufacturer and market leader within the life science and laboratory sector. Operating for over 60 years, they have built an excellent reputation for their product quality, technical expertise and long-standing customer relationships.
They supply an extensive portfolio of laboratory and diagnostic products to customers across hospitals, universities, research facilities and private laboratories.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Account Manager to cover the northern half of Ireland, ideally based in or around Belfast.
The role:
This is predominantly an account management role where you will take responsibility for an established customer base across your territory, developing relationships and identifying opportunities to increase sales across the company's wider product portfolio. You will sell a broad range of laboratory and life science products, including diagnostic equipment, laboratory consumables, clinical and transfusion products, lab automation and associated capital equipment.

About you:
You do not need to come from a traditional sales background for this position.
We are particularly interested in speaking with Science graduates or people currently working within a laboratory environment who have the personality and ambition to move into a commercial role.

We are also very interested in speaking with candidates who already have experience selling laboratory, life science, diagnostic or scientific products.
