Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Account Manager for our office-based role in Aylesbury with occasional travel. You will manage an existing account portfolio, identify new business, and present technical products to customers. The position offers a competitive salary and strong bonus potential.

Hours are standard office times, with an emphasis on meeting clients face-to-face, phone and email support, and delivering product demonstrations. You will benefit from a company car use and other perks.

Qualifications

• Must have previous sales experience.
• Mechanical knowledge or interest in engineering products is beneficial.
• Hands-on approach is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in customer-facing situations.
• Strong interest in technical products and how things work.
• Good attention to detail with ability to produce accurate quotations.
• Self-motivated with a proactive sales approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing and growing an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face visits.
• Recommending suitable products and advising on their applications.
• Delivering product demonstrations and providing technical support.
• Preparing accurate quotations and maintaining strong client relationships.

Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
(1-hour lunch break)

28,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
