Account Handler - Financial Lines
City of London (hybrid) | £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus, DIS, pension, PMI, support with qualifications
An ambitiously growing Broker in the heart of the City is looking to bring on board an experienced Account Handler to support one of their Account Executives who specialises in Financial Lines insurance business. The Account Handler will be expected to work in the London office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from home on Monday and Friday each week.
The role involves working across a range of commercial and Financial Lines products, including Commercial Combined, Liability, PI, FI, D&O, Cyber, Fintech, Crime, and Property Owners. Clients are mid-market to corporate, with premiums from £2,000 to £500,000. The Account Handler will handle client queries, administer new business, renewals, and MTAs, negotiate with insurers, and attend regular client and insurer meetings alongside senior team members.
Candidates should have experience in Professional Indemnity insurance, preferably with clients in the Financial Institutions sector and general commercial business. Strong relationship-building skills and excellent client service skills are essential. Experience with Acturis is a must. The ideal candidate is ambitious, hardworking, and aligns with the Broker's core values of excellence and integrity.
