Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive – Lloyds Broker – up to £60,000

Your new company

Your new job working as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd’s Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the city. They have a dedicated team of over 7000 associates and pride themselves on having an entrepreneurial culture that benefits their clients. Due to continued successful growth within their International Team and Machinery division, a new opportunity has arisen for a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive to join their established team.

Your new role

Your role as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive involves providing account management services for an allocated portfolio of clients, handling both new and renewal business from inception to completion. You will support client retention and business development, manage the day-to-day servicing of insurance programs, address queries related to cover and risk, identify risk exposures, and advise on insurance and risk management solutions, including handling large global insurance programs. Additionally, you will prepare market and client documentation such as MRC slips and endorsements as needed.

What you will need to succeed

Successful candidates will have previous experience as a Cargo, Logistics, MTC and Transportation Account Executive within a Lloyd’s Broker, with a strong background in account management at a senior level. You should understand relevant classes of business, risk management concepts, and be able to identify business opportunities. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with underwriters and clients, and to work with the broking team to prioritize workload and address any issues with content accuracy.
