Job summary

Gallagher in Edinburgh is seeking an ambitious Account Executive to manage and grow a personal book of business within a leading insurance, risk management and consulting services firm. You will build strong client relationships, negotiate terms, and deliver tailored insurance solutions that drive client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar account executive role.
• Working towards or holding Dip CII/Cert CII.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products and markets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support branch priorities and align with Gallagher’s strategy.
• Build and nurture client relationships, prospects and introducers.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue.
• Utilise PRISM and manage client information and sales plans.
• Develop a robust sales pipeline and pursue new business opportunities.
• Negotiate terms with insurers to meet client needs.
