Brook Street Recruitment is partnering with a leading global insurance brokerage to recruit an experienced Insurance Account Executive for their expanding Belfast team. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, developing relationships, advising on programmes, and identifying growth opportunities.

You'll be supported by Account Managers, New Business Specialists and a Claims Team, allowing you to focus on expert advice and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Account Executive or Account Handler within commercial insurance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients, including larger/complex risks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Negotiate and place a wide range of commercial insurance risks.

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, helping them protect their businesses through tailored insurance and risk management solutions. You'll focus on developing strong client relationships, retaining existing business, and identifying growth opportunities.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team including Account Managers, New Business Specialists and a dedicated Claims Team, allowing you to concentrate on delivering expert advice and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

About You

Our client is keen to speak with insurance professionals who have:

• Previous experience as an Account Executive or Account Handler within commercial insurance
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
• Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients, including larger and more complex risks
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• CII qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous
