Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the world's most famous agencies to structure itself around sectors. Each team incorporates consumer, corporate, and consumer affairs consultants, supported by specialist areas of ideas and strategy, content creation, and publishing.

The Energy team is looking to recruit an account director who is eager to help build and shape the team’s consumer offering. Experience in the energy and industrials sector is not required, but relevant PR agency experience is essential.

In this role, you will manage a targeted press office for one of the agency’s largest clients, aimed at encouraging behaviour change among the UK population.

You will need strong brand/consumer communications experience, preferably within an agency, delivering multi-disciplinary UK campaign work for heavyweight clients.

You will also be:

• A strong client handler, capable of hitting the ground running;
• Keen to maintain existing broadcast, print, and online contacts;
• News savvy – able to steer campaigns and messaging to maximise media coverage;
• Confident in delivering content suitable for social and traditional media platforms;
• Interested in all elements of new business;
• A confident team player who can act as a coach and mentor to talented, ambitious juniors.
