Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd seeks an Account Director to lead a high-profile, £5m portfolio across Central London. You will manage budgets, P&L, KPI/SLA delivery, H&S and environmental performance, and staff development on multi-site contracts.

The ideal candidate will have electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications (C&G/HNC/HND or higher) and proven experience overseeing large engineering teams within the blue chip sector, with strong client relationship management.

Account Director – Blue Chip Commercial Portfolio – Central London - up to 90K

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading companies in the facilities maintenance industry.

They currently maintain a number of high end maintenance contracts across London and the Home Counties and are looking for an experienced Account Director to head up one of their newest, most high profile contracts.

The main purpose of the job will be to ensure that contractual and technical operations are maintained to a very high standard and also contractual obligations are met.

The total value of the contract is around the £5 million mark and the total staff across each of the three high end offices consists of around 20 staff.

The main duties will also include:

• Manage all financial budgets, P&L and technical issues.
• Manage agreed KPI and SLA’s.
• Responsible for managing the company’s H&S and environmental performance on site.
• Recruitment of any new staff required on sites.
• Responsible for the technical development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.
• Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
• Management of all reports.
• Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.

Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline; C&G, HNC, HND or higher.
• Proven background in understanding of budgets and P&L.
• Strong technical engineering understanding.
• Experience of managing TFM contracts.
• Previous experience of managing large engineering teams.
• Experience of service delivery in the blue chip sector.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
• Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
