Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in homelessness or housing needs.
• Experience managing or supervising a team within housing/public sector.
• Strong understanding of homelessness legislation and local authority duties.
• Experience managing accommodation placements, temporary accommodation, or housing allocations.
• Experience monitoring performance, managing budgets, and delivering cost-effective services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accommodation Placement Service for homeless households.
• Oversee placement across temporary and longer-term housing solutions.
• Ensure contractual nomination timescales are met and monitored.
• Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Prepare reports and analyze performance data to support service improvements.
