Gardiner & Theobald LLP is seeking a Year Out Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst to support procurement of works, services and goods within major infrastructure projects. You will help develop procurement strategies, engage with markets and analyse supplier performance.

Based in London, you will join our Accelerate Programme, gain real project responsibility and mentoring while building reporting tools and supporting client delivery across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in a relevant subject and returning to university following the placement year.
• Good A-Level grades, or equivalent qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of current IT systems and applications.
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Supporting the management of procurements through the procurement lifecycle from business need identification through to contract award.
• Assisting in the preparation of procurement strategies, commercial strategies and package procurement plans.
• Supporting the development, coordination and administration of procurement documentation, including pre-qualification and tender documentation.
• Assisting with supplier market engagement activities and helping develop an understanding of supply market conditions and opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date procurement records, reports and project documentation.
• Assisting with the collection, management and analysis of procurement and supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Supporting the production of reports, presentations and market analysis to inform client decision-making.
• Assisting in the management of tender evaluation exercises and governance processes.
• Supporting the administration of e-procurement systems and ensuring procurement activities comply with relevant procedures and requirements.
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and support the delivery of client-focused solutions.
• Supporting the development of reporting tools and dashboards, including the use of Power BI and other analytical platforms where appropriate.
• Participating in project, procurement and client meetings, recording actions and supporting follow-up activities.
• Building an understanding of procurement legislation, governance requirements and industry best practice.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider business to support successful project and procurement outcomes.
