Job summary

Gardiner and Theobald LLP is seeking a Graduate Assistant Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join the Infrastructure team in London. You will support the Procurement Lead/Manager across procurement life-cycle stages, data analysis, and market engagement to secure best-value outcomes for client projects.

You will work on supplier market management, develop Power BI reporting, and contribute to commercial strategies while pursuing Chartered membership through the Chartered pathway.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management of procurements through the procurement life-cycle stages from identifying the business need to contract award drawing on internal and external resources as required.
• Assist the management of large data sets to deliver outputs identifying critical data trends.
• Support Supply Chain engagement by actively participating in stakeholder engagement across market and sector stakeholders within the supply chain to achieve client objectives.
• Develop the skills to build custom reporting and risk management systems through Power BI to facilitate supply chain risk management for clients.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to understand statistical trends and supply market risks for detailed report writing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives providing insights from a data perspective.
• Manage the e-procurement solution for specific categories/projects ensuring all projects are advertised sufficiently and meet transparency requirements.
• Participate in team meetings for procurement and provide monthly reports to evidence successful delivery of projects.
• Assist in the development of Commercial Strategies, Procurement Strategies and Package Procurement Plans.
• Assist the compilation of Prequalification and Tendering documentation (PQQ and ITT) including scoring protocols.
• Assist the management of Prequalification and Tender evaluation processes.
• Assist governance processes to help clients make timely procurement decisions.
• Advise on procurement legislation and developments to ensure compliance.
• Promote procurement best practice across business units.
