ASDA is seeking an Academy Lead for AI, Emerging Skills, Tech, Data & Online to own end-to-end learning pathways that enable AI, data and digital technology adoption across the business. You will prioritise capability investments and ensure programmes align with strategic transformation goals.

The role focuses on enabling capability through scalable learning solutions, engaging SMEs, and delivering measurable impact on business performance and digital maturity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading learning, capability and adoption initiatives at scale.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience translating business strategy into capability requirements.
• Understanding of modern adult learning methodologies and capability frameworks.
• Ability to work with data and insights to inform decision making.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering through matrix teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain capability strategy and pathways for AI, data and technology adoption across Asda.
• Define and deliver learning pathways to support technology transformation.
• Ensure pathways align with business priorities and long-term ambitions.
• Build relationships with functional leaders, People Partners and SMEs.
• Translate priorities into learning requirements for capability uplift.
• Identify and prioritise critical capabilities and support adoption of AI and data literacy.
