Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join a leading accountancy firm in Stoke-on-Trent. The role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE Accountant with experience managing a client portfolio.

Manage a portfolio of OM Bs, SMEs and corporate clients, review statutory accounts and Tax computations, and provide commercial accounting advice. Hybrid working and excellent benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE is required.
• Previous accountancy practice experience is required.
• Experience managing a client portfolio is essential.
• Strong accounts preparation knowledge is needed.
• Experience with OM Bs and SMEs is advantageous.
• Strong client management and communication skills are essential.
• Experience with Xero or QuickBooks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients
• Act as the main point of contact for clients
• Review statutory accounts and Corporation Tax computations
• Provide accounting and commercial business advice
• Manage workflow, deadlines and client deliverables
• Review junior work and support team development
• Work with Partners on client management and business development
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services

About You
